Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Height and weight is based on the genetic influence and then will be altered due to the lifestyle habits. Ayurvedic medicines can be given to improve the metabolism which will increase the nourishment to the tissues. Exercise done regularly will be beneficial.

Ayurvedic medicines like Speed height Capsules, Aswagandha churnam and Narasimha Rasayanam- 1tsp before food twice daily can be taken for 3months and then reviewed.

Include bananas, milk, egg, yoghurt, soya, broccoli, sesame seeds, nuts, beans, chick peas and mustard greens. Reduce excess pungent spicy foods, oil, sugar, canned foods and salt. Good rest and sleep will be beneficial to gain weight. Day sleep will also be beneficial in those who want to gain weight as it will increase kapha.
